Best organic food on the Central Coast
When I read the reports about pesticide residues on supermarket strawberries last year, I started looking more closely at what I was buying for my daughter. We switched to organic, and I’m so glad we did. Zestiny Farm has become our weekly go-to. You’ll find my experience below, alongside other farms and growers that locals have recommended.

Zestiny Farm
We get a box from Zestiny Farm every week, with extra fruit. Everything arrives fresh, and I like that what we eat follows the seasons. The team communicates well and has been lovely whenever I’ve had a question.
You can add to your box on the website, which is handy when you know you’ll need more of something. I almost always add extra strawberries.
How to shop: Choose a weekly or fortnightly certified organic produce box, or build your own. Enter your address when ordering to check delivery.

Mangrove Mountain
Delightfully Fresh Organics
Delightfully Fresh Organics grows certified organic fruit and vegetables at Mangrove Mountain. Order online for home delivery, or choose your produce at its Sunday stall in Gosford. If you’re planting a vegetable patch, it sells herbs and seedlings too.
How to shop: For home delivery, check that your address is covered. The Sunday stall is at Central Coast Farmers Market, Gosford Showgrounds, Showground Road, from 7am.
Fanelli Organics
Eden and Louise grow certified organic fruit and vegetables on their farm at Mangrove Mountain. You can order a box of seasonal produce or put together your own order from what’s available, then collect it from the farm stand or a market.
Where: The farm stand is at 10 Pembertons Hill Road, Mangrove Mountain, with Sunday collection from 9am. You can also collect at Like Minds Cafe in Avoca Beach on Wednesdays or Skeleton! Cafe in Woy Woy on Sundays. Confirm your pickup when you order.
Kulnura
Grace Springs Farm
At Grace Springs Farm, you can order pasture-raised eggs and meat along with a certified organic fruit and vegetable box. The produce comes from a nearby grower at Mangrove Mountain.
The fruit and vegetable boxes are certified organic. Grace Springs describes its own meat and egg farming as regenerative and chemical-free.
