Your spot in "Named in local groups" is never for sale. That tally is earned or it means nothing. What you can pay for is a Sponsored business page of your own: photos, hours, contact details and a direct link to your website, sitting alongside the free entries rather than replacing them.

What you're actually paying for

A pitch, not a contact card

Room to actually make your case: your mission, what makes you different, a current offer, an event you've got on. Closer to a resume of the business than a directory line.

Two places, not a swap

Already named for free? You keep that tally line and get the fuller page too. Not named yet? The page still puts you on the radar for a future visit or a genuine recommendation, rather than waiting to be noticed first.

How a recommendation turns into an enquiry

Here's the path a customer takes from a category page to your business.

A local looks up "best cafes central coast"

Finds the category page listing the places locals keep naming.

They open your business page

Photos, hours, what you do and any current offer, in one place, linked from the category page.

They visit your website or get in touch

One tap to your site or to call, without hunting for your details.

The site is new and still building its audience, so there are no traffic promises here. The price reflects that.

First year $120

Equivalent to $10 a month, billed annually. Covers checking that you're actually trading, that your details are right, and building your page.

Each year after $99

Nothing to re-verify the second time round, so renewing costs less than getting listed did.

What's on the page

  • Photos of your business.
  • Your opening hours.
  • A button straight through to your website.
  • Your phone number, so people can call without hunting for it.
  • A short description of what you do, and what makes you different.
  • Room for a current offer or event.
  • The Sponsored badge, clearly marked, every time. It never gets swapped for anything quieter.

What paying doesn't do

  • It doesn't move you into "Named in local groups." That tally only grows from real mentions.
  • It doesn't get you a "Verified" badge. Verification is what your fee pays for behind the scenes, not a trust label for sale.
  • It doesn't touch the order of anything. The hub ranking is never for sale, at any price.
  • It doesn't guarantee search rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales.
  • It doesn't affect your free listing if you stop. If you don't renew, the paid page ends and your free entry stays.
  • It doesn't guarantee your spot. We reserve the right to remove any listing, paid or not, if a bad experience gets reported or something about the business turns out to be problematic.

Ad slots at the foot of category pages, and sponsored guide placements, will be priced once those pages are actually ranking and the traffic is real. Selling either before that would mean selling something with no value behind it yet, so they're not for sale.
