Nail salons on the Central Coast

A manicure is one of the little indulgences I treat myself to, and I always feel more polished when my nails are done. Here are the nail salons locals recommend around the Coast.

The count shows how often locals have recommended each business. My own pick is labelled separately.

Nail salons in Umina Beach

Mint Beauty Spa

My pick

Roxane showing her manicure

Renee sees one client at a time, which I love. She uses natural, breathable polish rather than shellac, and offers simple-colour and organic spa manicures. She also did my daughter’s very first manicure for my wedding and was wonderful with her.

Two locals recommended Nails by Manda, and both highlighted her focus on natural nail health. My online pick

Personail

My pick

Personail is a Marrickville, Sydney nail-wrap business, with wraps and nail-art stickers available to shop online. I met the owner at Norrieville Vintage Fair almost 10 years ago and have been buying from her ever since. When I’m short on time for a salon visit, I do my nails at home. Some of the wraps are cured under UV, so they last longer.
