Christmas Day Lunch on the Central Coast 2026: Prices, Menus and Kids’ Deals
Christmas lunch on the Coast can cost a family of four anywhere from around $400 to over $600, so I’ve put the prices side by side. I’ve worked out what a family would actually pay, noted what each venue offers kids, and grouped them by area.

Christmas lunch in Gosford
Gosford RSL Club, West Gosford
The most affordable lunch on this list. It’s a buffet of seafood, carvery and hot dishes, summer salads and Christmas desserts, with live entertainment.
You can sit in the restaurant at 11.30am, the lounge at 12pm or outdoors on the terrace at 12.30pm. Each area has limited seats.

Avoca Beach House
Christmas lunch right by the water, with ocean views. The 3-course feast starts with a cold seafood plate, followed by a traditional roast with all the trimmings and shared dessert platters of mini pavlovas and Christmas pudding.
Adults get a 2.5-hour drinks package with wine, prosecco, tap beer and soft drinks.

Coral, Terrigal
A 3-course long lunch steps from Terrigal Beach, starting with Sydney rock oysters, with a 2.5-hour drinks package included. You can upgrade to a seafood tower to share, and there’s a vegan menu by pre-order.
Kids under 13 are $49, which makes this a better-value family option than the adult price suggests.

Mercure Kooindah Waters, Wyong
A Christmas buffet with traditional and modern dishes. Every ticket includes a 3-hour drinks package, and children 12 and under get a gift from Santa.
Choose the 11.30am seating, which finishes at 2.30pm, or 1pm, which finishes at 4pm. Payment is upfront and non-refundable, and ticket sales close a week before Christmas.

A big Christmas buffet with chilled and hot seafood, five roast meats, plenty of salads and desserts like trifle and sticky date pudding. Kids get their own buffet with pizza, popcorn chicken, chips and a lolly bar.
There are four seating times, from 11.30am to 1pm. Bookings must be paid in full and close on Friday 11 December, unless they sell out first.

Bells at Killcare has confirmed a Christmas Luncheon on 25 December, but hasn’t shared prices or a menu yet. Keep an eye on the Bells events calendar or call 02 4349 7000.
Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford ran a Christmas buffet last year. Its 2026 lunch isn’t on the club’s events page yet, so call 02 4325 9888 to check.
Christmas lunch questions
What’s the cheapest Christmas Day lunch on the Central Coast?
Of the venues confirmed so far, Gosford RSL Club and The Doylo are the most affordable, both from $149 per adult. At The Doylo that price is for members; guests pay $159.
Which Christmas lunches are good for kids?
Mercure Kooindah Waters gives children 12 and under a gift from Santa, and The Doylo has a separate kids’ buffet with a lolly bar. Avoca Beach House charges $65 for kids aged 6–12 and nothing for under 5s, Coral charges $49 for under 13s, and Gosford RSL has children’s prices from $25.
When should I book Christmas lunch?
As early as you can. Bookings are already open at the venues above, The Doylo closes bookings on Friday 11 December, and Mercure Kooindah Waters closes ticket sales a week before Christmas.
Can I get a refund if plans change?
Check the terms before you book. Mercure Kooindah Waters, for example, needs full payment upfront and doesn’t give refunds.
